The Establishment is at it again. Just as Roger Wicker’s camp sent trackers to follow McDaniel’s every move, as did Thad Cochran in 2014, Cindy Hyde-Smith’s campaign is engaging in the same sleazy tactic, a strategy that Chris McDaniel will not employ against her.
We reported one recently on Facebook but now we have an additional tracker to alert McDaniel’s supporters about.
The first was identified as Frank Lawler, who has shown up at a number of McDaniel’s “meet and greet” events, and has even volunteered for the campaign. He clerked for Haley Barbour’s BGR Group and has other connections to the Establishment.
A second tracker was discovered last night, August 21, at the Harrison County Republican Women’s event with Senator McDaniel. We know he is a student at the University of South Alabama and his name is Jordan. Here is his mug:
Now what does this tell us? Why would the Cindy Hyde-Smith campaign, which is constantly accusing McDaniel of being “uncivil,” send trackers to record every event?
Are these the actions of a campaign that is comfortably in the driver’s seat? Given the recent “poll” by Y’all Politics, the one they recently doubled down on, Hyde-Smith should have nothing to worry about.
But this tells us the real truth. If she was really that far ahead, why send minions to hopefully catch McDaniel in an unguarded moment? Because they are not comfortably ahead. These are the actions of a campaign running scared.
