Liberal Democrats boast of many things but perhaps their most often used line is that they are “tolerant” and “inclusive.” They brag of their support of all people but, in reality, they are the most intolerant and the most exclusive political group in America today.
Just the past week or so is all the proof anyone needs of liberal intolerance. Since Russia has crashed and burned, and so has Stormy Daniels, the new topic for this week is Trump’s new “zero tolerance” policy on illegal immigration and the subsequent separation of children from parents and guardians.
Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Sanders, was asked to leave a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia known as “The Red Hen” because she worked for the Trump White House. She politely complied with management and left.
Trump’s DHS Secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, was heckled while attempting to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Washington. One of the protesters just so happened to be a paralegal in the Justice Department, who has, as of this writing, not been fired.
Hecklers have also protested in front of Nielsen’s home. One protester held a sign, apparently without a shred of irony, which stated “Love, Not Hate: That’s What Built America.”
Trump aide Stephen Miller faced protesters outside his Washington apartment, accusing him of being a white nationalist, committing crimes against humanity, promoting Nazism, and kidnapping children.
Miller, like Nielsen, also faced protesters at a Mexican restaurant in DC. The New Yorker then headlined a ridiculous piece entitled “The Absurdity of Kirstjen Nielsen and Stephen Miller Eating at Mexican Restaurants During an Immigration Crisis.”
Florida’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, an avid Trump supporter, was harassed as she left a movie theater. One protester shouted, “You are a horrible person!”
Maxine Waters, one of the most radical members of Congress, as well as one of the most factually challenged, is now encouraging more harassment:
I want to tell you, these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them. They’re going to protest. They’re absolutely going to harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’ This is wrong. This is unconscionable. We can’t keep doing this to children.”
She went on to say, “We’re gonna win this battle because while you try and quote the Bible, Jeff Sessions and others, you really don’t know the Bible. God is on our side. On the side of the children. On the side of what’s right. On the side of what’s honorable. On the side of understanding that if we can’t protect the children, we can’t protect anybody.” This from the woman who CREW – Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington – has named one of the most corrupt members of Congress.
And all of this to protest a policy that was in place under Obama, yet without a word raised in protest. It’s just another liberal tactics to detract from their legal troubles and the corruption emanating from the probe of the 2016 presidential election.
But, looking at what they are doing, is this what we have become as a society? Have liberals now set a new precedent that businesses can refuse service to anyone they choose? I thought the civil rights movement, for which they so proudly boast, had, as one of its core messages, that all people had a right to go to a restaurant without fear of discrimination and mistreatment? Or is it just for those reasons cited by liberals?
Recall that these are the very same people who threw a fit because a Christian baker in Colorado, citing religious beliefs, politely declined to make a wedding cake for a homosexual couple, who, by the way, drove scores of miles and passed dozens of bakeries to the one owned by Jack Phillips for the sole purpose of creating a legal case, which they eventually lost in the Supreme Court. In Oregon, another Christian baker was fined $135,000 for the same reason.
Yet in 2017, in the bastion of tolerance that is Seattle, Washington, a homosexual café owner, disliking the Christian and anti-abortion chatter coming from several of his patrons, tossed them out, yelling “Tell all your [expletive] friends don’t come here!”
[As a side note, consider the oddity of that situation. Why would a gay man care about abortion? It’s not an issue he will ever face. But evil sticks together.]
As we move toward the November elections, as well as 2020, expect things to get worse, a lot worse. Donny Deutsch on MSNBC essentially targeted Trump supporters. “If you vote for Trump, then you, the voter, you, not Donald Trump, are standing at the border, like Nazis,” he said.
Grabien News has put together a nearly-three minute montage on some of these vile comments.
If that wasn’t enough, actor Peter Fonda, brother of “Hanoi Jane,” tweeted a vile threat about Barron Trump, hoping to see him locked in a cage with pedophiles. And recall that Roseanna Barr sent out one tweet comparing Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to an ape and she lost her ABC show. Fonda wants to see the rape of a child and nothing happened to him. The Left is not only intolerant; they are sick.
Conservatives, so often derided as bigoted and prejudicial, are far more tolerant and far more inclusive. Do Republicans act in this way? Do we heckle and protest our opponents? Do we shout down liberal speakers? Do we block highways and set things on fire? Was any of Obama’s people ever treated this way? But this is the current state of American liberalism.
Democrats have now declared war on Trump, his family, and his supporters. This is their campaign for November – harass and heckle while siding with illegal immigrants and MS-13 over the American people. Good luck with that one!
