Jackson lobbyist Hayes Dent, a candidate for the Mississippi state senate, and the top dog over at Hayes Dent Public Strategies, took tens of thousands of dollars from far left liberal attack dogs at the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC, according to records obtained by Mississippi Conservative Daily.
The SPLC infamously targets conservatives and Christians and attacks them as “hate groups,” fomenting hatred for about half of Americans, regularly equating conservative Christians with racist hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan.
Republicans in Mississippi are right to question how exactly Hayes Dent is working with the SPLC. Here’s why:
One regular SPLC target, the Family Research Council (FRC), was the target of a far left terror attack, when an armed man targeted the FRC for a terror attack he was eventually convicted of.
[The perpetrator] picked his target off a “hate map” on the website of the ultra-liberal Southern Poverty Law Center which is upset with the conservative group’s opposition to gay rights.
Floyd Lee Corkins II pleaded guilty to three charges including a charge of committing an act of terrorism related to the August 15, 2012 injuring of FRC’s guard. He told the FBI that he wanted to kill anti-gay targets and went to the law center’s website for ideas.
At a court hearing where his comments to the FBI were revealed, he said that he intended to “kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces…
Similarly, the man who attempted to murder dozens of U.S. Congressman on a baseball field in June of 2017 also had ties to the SPLC.
The SPLC openly supports the radical LGBT(Q?) agenda.
The SPLC is right at the center of the Orwellian policing of free speech online.
Silicon Valley digital giants Facebook, Google, YouTube, Amazon and Twitter have empowered the far left extreme liberal hate group as an arbiter of truth on their social media, consumer, and search engine platforms, according to Fox News.
The SPLC’s move to engage with internet censorship has come at the behest of radical Islam.
Frequent Fox News contributor Brent Bozell, of the Media Research Center, along with sixty other top conservatives, have written a letter urging the Tech Giants to work hard to ensure conservatives are given a fair shake online.
Fox News Channel’s John Stossel has called the SPLC a “money grabbing slander machine.”
SPLC scion Morris Dees has even been accused by his family of attempting to abuse his step-daughter with a sex toy.
According to Dees’s ex-wife, Dees was also abusive.
Ominously, the SPLC has even ignored left-wing anti-semitism across the country, according to Fox News.
WATCH TUCKER SLAM THE SPLC
Given this record, Hayes Dent either needs to refund his fees to the SPLC in full, or run as a Democrat.
